News: Plasmatreat is a member of the VDMA Battery Production Board

Anne-Laureen Lauven, Head of Marketing, has been elected as a member of the new Board

As a member of the VDMA, German Association for Mechanical and Plant Engineering, Plasmatreat is represented in many areas, such as Plastics and Rubber or Battery Production. In the VDMA Battery Production, a new board has been elected from among the members for the coming years.

Here, too, Plasmatreat is at the forefront and can play an active role, because Anne-Laureen Lauven, head of marketing at Plasmatreat, was elected as a new member of the VDMA Battery Production Board. Together with the other board members from various companies which are working in battery industry, led by board chairman Stephan Eirich, she wants to focus on competitiveness and innovation in order to further strengthen Europe's position in mechanical and plant engineering.

As the industry's central platform, the VDMA bundles expertise and promotes cross-industry exchange. Battery engineering in particular offers enormous growth opportunities for the more than 170 member companies in the division and represents a key technology for the future. With the increasing importance of this sector, VDMA Battery Production intends to further expand its role as a central platform both nationally and internationally.
